Great Mom's Walk
Spa Day
Our meeting on April 3rd was "Spa Day." Instead of seating at our usual tables, we sat at different stations. It was a great opportunity to chat with some different moms in our group.
First (as usual) we ate our brunch and chatted. Then the fun began at our stations:
Arbonne-mini-facials/makeovers
Mary Kay-Hand, foot, and lip treatments
"DIY Manicure"/Survey
Make your own chocolate body butter/Vendor tables
Finally, we had two massage therapists and drew names for a free 10 minute massage.

Do you love MOPS? Would you like to be more involved in our MOPS group? We are looking for people to join next year’s Steering Team. There are many positions on Steering Team and we are able to use everyone and anyone!!! We can always use more help in making our MOPS and MOPPETS even more successful!
We will have a short meeting on April 3rd (after our regular meeting) so you can ask questions and get more information.
If you have questions, please contact Lorie Atkins (lratkins@msn.com) or Angela Frazee (angelafrazee@cableone.net).
Spa Day-April 3rd
This year we will have a vendor area featuring Moms in our MOPS group who have home-based business. This is a great opportunity. If you are interested, please contact: Lorie Atkins (lratkins@msn.com) or Angela Frazee (angelafrazee@cableone.net) so we know how many vendors to prepare for.

Great Mom's Walk

9:30am
Boise Towne Square Mall (Meet at the Borders/Cheesecake Factory Entrance)
What is the Great Mom’s Walk?
The Great Moms Walk is a fun event and an excellent opportunity to raise funds to support our group. 100% of collected donations are retained by our group!
Why are we doing the walk?
Our goal is to raise $5000 to help with the cost of MOPS. This includes both operating expenses and scholarships!
What do I need to do?
Ask your family/friends/neighbors for donations just for walking. We have donation forms available.
Come out to the Mall with your family and walk.
Send an email to friends/family about our online donation page at http://www.firstgiving.com/ccboisemops09
For the past three years we have been part of Calvary Chapel Boise MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers). I have made some great friends through this group.
This year we are doing a fundraiser called the Great Moms Walk. We will be walking on April 4th at Boise Town Square Mall with our families (babies, toddlers, strollers, and all).
We are asking for donations in any amount through http://www.firstgiving.com/ccboisemops09
We are raising funds to help with operating costs and for scholarships for our group.
Here's some more info about MOPS:
Being a mom of preschoolers can be a challenging time, in identity, marriage, finances and all other areas of life. Our MOPS group meets twice a month. We have a brunch, guest speaker, discussion time, craft, and most important: child care. We laugh, cry, and share about our struggles as a mom. It is also place where I can interact with other Christian moms.
You can learn more about MOPS at www.mops.org
Thanks for your support!
